It’s my favourite part of a wedding.
Watching the groom when the bride is walking down the aisle.
While I am always focusing on the bride as she moves into her groom’s sight for the first time, I love to turn around quickly and capture the groom.
Brad’s chin was on the floor. Seriously, I’ve never seen a groom more lost for words than he was.
And no wonder. Leah was divine.
She spent the morning making sure everyone else was ok and it wasn’t until her dress went on that she remembered to breathe.
Leah & Brad are so in love. During the ceremony, it was as though they were the only ones in the room and they squeezed each other’s hands tight.
Stones of the Yarra Valley is one of my favorite venues and on a day full of brilliant Autumn colours, it couldn’t have been more beautiful.
Leah’s incredible 1920’s inspired look was everything I love and suited the venue to perfection. Beads, glitter, rich lipstick and some fabulous finger waves in her hair. I also have to mention Brad’s dashing bow tie. My Mum always told me you can never trust a man in a bow tie, but Brad changed my mind.
Leah & Brad… oh how lucky I was to be your photographer! One day I think I might need you to teach me your amazing bridal dance, and get Nana J to bake me some shortbread.
I just love these guys. And this wedding. You might be able to tell we had a tiny bit of fun...
