When I arrive to photograph the girls before a wedding, the bride is either completely relaxed or a bundle of nerves.
Gabby was both extremes all at the same time.
She was so composed I don’t think she would have cared if her dress had a hole in it but she was also shaking like a leaf. She was nervous about forgetting her vows and she didn’t want to cry.
Their ceremony was a celebration of their meeting, their families and their love.
When it came time for the vows, it was Jonno who struggled. Not to remember them, but to finish them without tears.
After the ceremony, we went for photos around the grounds of Hurlstone Gardens then into the city centre. It was cold but the bridal party were troopers and were happy to walk the streets. When we finished, we popped into The Aussie to warm up and we just may have eaten some hot chips and gravy. SO good!
While not everyone is brave enough to have their wedding in Winter, it was so romantic! The light we had on the day was spectacular and as you’ll see in the photos Gabby & Jonno are oh so in love.
