It’s funny, the people you meet on holidays.
My husband Chris and I were on a sunset cruise around the Greek Islands (boy do I wish I was back there!) and we met Amanda and Dom. We got chatting… small talk stuff, which quickly became “No Way,” “Oh wow” and “Really?”
Turns out we had a lot in common and they were getting married! Not only married, but they had eloped to Santorini and their wedding was in two days.
Serendipitous? I’d like to think so.
That Saturday evening Chris and I dressed up and walked past the rows of white buildings with blue doors to Mystique. The ceremony was held at 6pm overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, just as the sun was setting and the sky was shifting from blue to orange. It was romantic, personal and exactly what they wanted.
Sometimes people get caught up in the “wedding” and forget it’s the beginning of the marriage that is important. Amanda & Dom’s wedding was all about the marriage and it was the perfect way to begin a life together.
Amanda & Dom we had such a great time photographing your wedding and getting to know you. We hope to see you in Australia one day soon.
What's better than a pair of Christian Louboutin wedding shoes? A SPARKLY pair!
Amanda did her own hair and make up for her wedding. Talented? Yes!
