Weddings don’t always go to plan.
I mean, when you rely on so many things going right, it doesn’t always end up as perfect as it is in your head.
The night before Jess & Christian’s outdoor Geelong wedding, I got a call.
“Hi Verity, it’s Jess. I just wanted to call and let you know because of the weather we’ve changed our ceremony venue.”
Now, for most brides this phone call would be made with an underlying element of stress or panic. Jess couldn’t have been more matter of fact. Or calm.
Their dream was to have their wedding at Eumerella Scout Camp near Angelsea followed by the reception at Truffleduck. The night before the wedding, they contacted their 100 guests having relocated the ceremony to Truffleduck.
Lucky they did.
Safely inside, it poured just as Jess arrived to see Christian at the end of the aisle.
After their ceremony we headed to Angelsea for their photos. It was a photographer’s perfect day and Jess & Christian were great models.
These two are the best of friends. They laughed and chatted their way through the day and barely left each others side.
Jess & Christian, it was a pleasure sharing the day with you, and the dancefloor with your friends and family. We loved it!
Say hi to Poppy and Champ for us.
